There is a great opportunity to be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the daily operation of the accounting team of 3 who work on full-scale accounting of a portfolio of up to approximately 100 Hungarian entities.

You can show your expertise while doing the following tasks:

• setting up the books of foreign entities’ Hungarian subsidiaries
• month-end closing of the books for client reporting purposes
• preparation of the annual closing of the books for statutory and/or client reporting purposes, i.e. accruals, revaluations and review of the General Ledger and analytics for accuracy and completeness
• participating in all relevant Hungarian tax (CIT, VAT, other) returns with necessary supporting calculations
• drive the transformation to digital bookkeeping, ensuring paperless reporting, whilst maintaining appropriate controls
