Our prestigious Partner with information technology background wants to expand its financial team with a Revenue Recognition Team Leader colleague.
You could meet a complex and diverse role with the following tasks:
- Team leader for a team of 4-6 people
- Review and coordinate all tasks performed by the team:
- Review contract analysis based on ASC 606 (being convergent with IFRS 15) which will be the basis for subsequent revenue recognition
- Support and review revenue allocation process by calculating standalone selling prices (SSPs).
- Review lease qualification questionnaire in order to classify contracts as operating or capital lease including the analysis of termination terms
- Revenue testing to control the correctness of the revenue allocation accounting model
- Organize and prioritize tasks within the team
- Manage the performance, motivation, and development of the team
- Stakeholder management
- Monitor activity, measure performance, and prepare a monthly report based on these
- Implement and conduct revenue accounting related controls
- Lead or participate in new projects involving the revenue allocation process
